Toronto Horse Day

Thanks to everyone who came out for the very first Toronto Horse Day on June 6th and helped make it such a huge success!

People of all ages came to participate in a variety of fun and interactive programs centered around the hands on learning of the basics of horsemanship.

A special thanks also to everyone who participated in tours and demonstrations as well as a thank you to Melissa Grelo of CP24 Breakfast for coming and answering everyone's horsey questions.

Toronto Horse Day was held in association with The Ontario Equestrian Federation (OEF), the Riding Academy at the Horse Palace and the Toronto Police Service Mounted Unit.

Be sure to come out next year and join us again for a fun, educational and horsey family day!

Sandy joins The Riding Academy

Sandy, who has spent many years as an intermediate and advanced horse at Sunnybrook Stables has now moved down to The Riding Academy. After her best friend Oreo retired last summer, Sandy was ready for a change and happy to go make a whole bunch of new friends at the Riding Academy.
Sandy loves to jump and hardly ever gets tired, but she also does some great dressage too! See if you can get her half-pass out of her.
